Comment:
Ascaris lumbricoides H & E stain cross section showing intestine with tall. slender columnar cells with the nuclei bear the base and short microvilli on the luminal margin and reproductive organs. Note the body wall has a relatively thick multi layered cuticle and a fibrous-appearing hypodermis which is thin in the sub muscular area but expands to form conspicuous lateral chords in this large worm.
